The days of handwritten recipes are slipping away. Many of us still have those recipes penned by mothers and fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers tucked inside cookbooks on tattered index cards or slips of paper.
Engraving that distinctive handwriting takes that piece of your family’s story and permanently marks it as something you can see and use daily. The picture shown is my grandmother’s creamed corn recipe engraved in a cedar wood tray. It’s beautiful, and having her recipe in her script reminds me of her every time I use it.
We can do the same for you. If you have a sample of handwriting that you would like preserved and engraved to share and enjoy – all we will need is:
1) A digital copy of the handwriting (take a picture, scan it, however you can get it to us).
2) Your choice of what to engrave – we have handmade wooden trays, cutting boards, trivets and wooden signs.
